PROclamations

PROclamations – Obtaining a Proclamation from a city mayor’s office for a community cause is fairly straightforward and often comes with the experience of having a ‘photo-op’ session with the Mayor. We develop grassroots initiatives that begin with such a process, allowing us to engage local schools, libraries, businesses and after-school programs in the mission. We invite nominations for deserving youth to attend the photo-op session with the promise of having a meaningful experience and to empower participants to return as youth leaders of the new educational campaign.

Sparsh Shah and Biana Pinchuk, two national youth ambassadors, graced local teens with a live performance at a photo-op with the Mayor of Delray Beach, Florida. for a “NO SMOKiNG & NO VAPiNG with love” Proclamation, May 31st, 2019, on World No Tobacco Day.

PROductions

Engaging talented teens with educational objectives yields the most impactful Edutainment. Mission Possible established the Bright Minds Film Festival nearly a decade ago and now produces Bright Minds Films – Youth created PSA’s.

Our Rx Bop collection features over 75 unique prevention parodies and Creative Juice PROductions, which are often youth collaboration that may include videos, films of all types, live music, spoken word, dance, drama, plays, talent shows and presentations.

We have three pilots in the works, all take-offs of popular shows including ‘Shark Tank’, ‘The Biggest Loser’ and one based on a combination of ‘Kids React/Teens React’ and ‘You Sang My Song’, produced by Glamour magazine. Ours include: An entrepreneurial program with a philanthropic twist: ‘HUG Tank’ – Help Us Give (Who wants to swim with sharks?!!), ‘The Biggest Quitter’ featuring those willing to film their journey to quitting smoking or vaping and ‘You Bopped My Song’, where famous singers are filmed as they watch student submissions using the music of their original songs to perform Rx Bop educational parodies.

#GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.

#GivingTuesday is an opportunity for people around the world to stand together in unity — to use their individual power of generosity to remain connected and heal.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, an extra #Giving Tuesday was organized on May 5th, 2020. A group of students in Delray Beach, Florida, in connection with BillionActs.org’s #peaceinplace campaign, had the idea to create a gratitude film for the frontline workers in their community and to inspire others to do the same wherever they live. They began the “ThanQ” film project with the goal of sharing it on the traditional day of #GivingTuesday after Thanksgiving.

At a time when we are all experiencing the pandemic, generosity is what brings people of all races, faiths, and political views together across the globe. Generosity gives everyone the power to make a positive change in the lives of others and is a fundamental value anyone can act on.

“You’re going to make a difference. A lot of times it won’t be huge,

it won’t be visible even.  But it will matter just the same.”

~Commissioner James Gordon

During COVID quarantine, our youth ambassadors, Sparsh Shah and Anuj Shah, engaged kids all over the world in this educational parody, to the tune of Whip My Hair by Willow Smith. The song lyrics incorporate the Four Principles of Hand Awareness” endorsed by AMA and AAFA since 2001:

  1. WASH your hands when they are dirty and BEFORE eating
  2. DO NOT COUGH into your hands
  3. DO NOT SNEEZE into your hands
  4. Above all, DON’T put your fingers into your eyes, nose or mouth.

Let's Talk Trash

In hopes of engaging the largest ocean garbage clean-up operation (through the sale of eco-concious merch) as a youth partner in addressing cigarette pollution, we created a presentation for local B Corp, 4Ocean. We designed an ad in the style of their email campaigns for consideration in becoming one of their monthly non-profit partners. We proposed a custom two-colored ‘Prevention Awareness’ bracelet to their ever-growing collection, featuring turquoise to denote addiction and lavender to represent all cancer, with the message: “Help prevent addiction and all cancer caused by smoking and vaping.”
